Terror Attack

"People need to learn lifesaving skills in case they are caught up in a terror attack in the UK, a team of senior military and civilian medics has said." - Quote from BBC News Website

The terrorist/extremist aims to cause as much devastation and disruption as possible. To achieve this, they strike where it's least expected. Where there are vulnerable people. Where security is at its weakest. This could include a place of work, a shopping centre or any other area where there is a large collection of people like a night club or busy market.

They are becoming more and more aware of what can be used as a weapon. This ranges from guns to homemade explosives to vehicles.

Would you be able to help yourself or others following a terror attack?

Would you know what needs to be done and be able to act accordingly to save someone’s life?

Trauma based training causes can be run in a day for the basic life saving treatments that need to be carried out in such an event. The things you will learn range from the basics like Basic Life Support and CPR to crush injuries, gun shot wounds and catastrophic bleeding. The scenario based training allows you to put skills into practice with mock casualties with casualty simulation.

It’s a sad fact, but these skills are becoming more and more necessary. If you would like to know more about the courses we can provide then please get in touch via our website.
